Well, I had brought along two of my guy friends who have never been to a visual live: Dang who is in to the likes of Evanescence and epic goth rock; and Brian who is brave enough to say he loves crazy glam metal bands like Poison or just scary crap like Megadeath. Anyways, they were all excited cause of the girls at the concert (usually the concerts they go to consist of only guys). So I had to deal with that xD The first band was Crows, who aren't that bad! But I was all: Candy is next! Yay! Going to be all spooked out...and little did I know, I was xDDDD!!

I went up, just behind the saizen, front row, line. And Meguro Rock May Kan used to be an old porn theater, so like, it's really crappy and small, but loveable in a way. :D Anyhoo, the fans were pretty nice, and all we could hear were chains and huge things being moved around on stage behind the black curtain. Well, then it finally gets to SHOW TIME! The curtain stays, and there's this long creepy orchestra segment playing. I know it's some weirded out version of a symphony, but anyways, the curtain suddenly opens at the end. There is Jack in his seat of frankenstein doom. Peggy has a bag on his head. Zull is all creepily still, standing on his little gothic lolita chair with guitar all propped up. So, Jack starts going off on how he's going to be electrocuted. It's not really a song, more like a monologue. Then Jack counted down, and he got electrocuted. xD

Seriously, Jack is creeping me out at this point. But it wasn't until he broke free from his chair in the next song that I tried to look elsewhere. By this time, Peggy had the bag off of his head. ... But then the tape messed up, right when Jack was all getting into the puppet movements. But the band played it cool. Peggy laughed. Jack told us to please wait for a while, and returned to his chair. Zull fixed everything, and they broke out into the song again. Jack came up to the amps, and kept smacking everyone with his long sleeve of alice auaa-ish material. :D The girls were all laughing and trying to stay very very still.... I tried to not let him scare me.

Then it was time for the puppet to MC. Telling everyone to please come to the oneman. I was like: yepp! I'm going! ;) The voice really was theremin-induced. But then they broke into Exosist. And this song live is just as good as the CD version, but different. This is when I usually know that a band is good, if they can pull off a difficult song. So I'm all: yay!!! I really like Peggy's cello-bass btw. He can play that thing like a motha'. :D

But they ended with Murder Toy In The Closet. So I was all happy. People were jumping a bit, but what I kind of like is the lack of furi, or hand motions. But I did want to headbang for Exosist, but I guess...no? :X. Anyways, I just want to say that Jack is a sexified zombie (which was unexpected); Peggy is just adorable, but he was feeling sick (from his journal updates) yet Jack and Zull both managed to bother him --- Jack flipped his skirt and Zull pushed up against him; Zull was perfect. He really reminds me of some certain musicians that are perfectionist but oh so good at what they do.

After their performance, I had to stand through PRIME ADDICT (a session band that Brian went insane headbanging crazy for); HEAVENLY; ISOLATION; and Sel'm (disappointed....>>;;). But my friends were pretty happy and thought Candy was the best, as well as the scariest ... which they liked xD Weirdos!
